This past October, after an intense month of preparation, we had the exciting opportunity to showcase an early demo of our game, Undersea Rescue, at the 1Upstate Game Development Expo in Albany, NY. It was our first time participating at such and event, and the experience was both exhilarating and eye-opening.

The expo was a fantastic opportunity to show Undersea Rescue to the world for the first time. Watching attendees engage with the game, ask questions, and offer feedback was incredibly rewarding. It’s one thing to build a game you’re passionate about, but seeing others excited to play it brings a whole new level of motivation.

Beyond showcasing our game, it was amazing to feel connected to such a community of game developers. The energy at 1Upstate was palpable, with so many developers and gamers coming together to share their projects and celebrate the industry. From indie teams showing off unique concepts to experienced studios demoing polished works, the event was a testament to the vibrant and growing game development scene in New York State.
